
I’ve been thinking that maybe I should blog a bit about my fitness routine and such. I am by no means a professional, but people have asked me what my routine is, what I eat, and so on.
I think I will get to an introduction post soon about that, so look for it if you are interested. But for now, I just want to vent.
I’m headed to a kickboxing class shortly and I’m kind of dreading it. I LOVE kickboxing, but I love going to the class sessions that are held on Saturday and Monday. But I didn’t go this past Monday due to being out of town, and I have plans Saturday. Thus, I HAVE to go tonight.
The class tonight has an instructor that is so lack-luster. I am a big believer having an instructor that sets the tone. They set the energy level, they offer a lot of encouragement, and they push you to work harder. This instructor has a really low energy level and sometimes skips out on the routine. She’ll instead tell us what to do and it drives me nuts. She’s on the older side, so maybe that’s why, but still… I hate it. I rely on the instructor to help motivate me, dang it! :)
It’s going to be rough trying to push myself tonight. Hopefully there will be other people in t he class taking it up a few notches so I can model myself after them instead.
